I am here to say that the Guide Siltarp by Integral Designs meets up to my backpacking standards. This super light weight little number did a great job during torrential rains in the Gunnison National Forest, CO. If a person sets this tarp system up well it can withstand quite a bit of torture. Here is the lowdown on what a person needs to make this baby work: Trekking Poles, 10-15 stakes, 15 feet of cord and a know how when it comes to setting up in wind and other weather, THAT’S IT! A couple pieces of advice from me, set up the end(s) with the trekking poles first and get them tight, then stake down the sides. If you do it right this thing will be as tight as a banjo string. Also, the tarp comes with Silnet to seal the seams, (only two), do it before you leave and you will be dry all night. I give it 4 1/2 stars out of five!!! -L-DOG
